In the midst of global crises such as pollution, wars and famine, kindness may be too easily dismissed as a "soft" issue, or a luxury to be addressed after the urgent problems are solved. But kindness is the greatest need in all those areas -- kindness toward the environment, toward other nations, toward the needs of people who are suffering. Until we reflect basic kindness in everything we do, our political gestures will be fleeting and fragile. Simple kindness may be the most vital key to the riddle of how human beings can live with each other in peace, and care properly for this planet we all share.

Kind of at a loss for words today... but this speaks LOUD... go make it a great one! Until next time.... make it a great one ! xo

I am doing it... progress folks... and another recipe !
I have not faltered from the diet plan! Walking briskly every other day for 30 minutes.... and drinking a TON of water! I will weigh this weekend and see if I notice just the slightest of difference and let ya'll know...
I cooked this last night... TALK ABOUT SIMPLE AND FAB!
How can you resist a crockpot recipe?
LAZY DAY SOUP
1 lb hamburger-browned with onion/salt/pepper
3 cans campbells minestrone soup (the regular white/red can...dont try and get creative trust me!)
1 can corn---juice and all
1 can rotel tomatos
1 can ranch style beans
thats it!!! brown hamburger with onion, salt, & pepper. open the 6 cans and dump in pot. stir it up and just let it cook itself. i do add some water and sometimes a small can of tomato sauce because i like it a little saucy...for dipping crackers or yummy rolls. can be made in crockpot all day or on stovetop.
(I added beef broth and water for a more saucy effect....)
ENJOY !
Oh, and I topped mine with mozzarella cheese, but cheese is like my best friend - too each his own...
Smooches !

Did you know.....
I am the queen of making salsa? Green sauce and red sauce.... can't touch this !!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! I have hispanic folks tell me it is the best they have ever tasted - that I should bottle and sell it... well, I decided to do the full on out MexiCAN dinner for my family last night which included BOTH salsas.... talk about a treat...
You can have tacos, chalupas, taco salad, burritos - the choices are yours to make... just EAT!
I call it my "gringo salsa"... no one be offended .. means white people and/or light skinned....
GRINGO Salsa Recipe:
avacados (I normally use 3-4)
jalepenos (start with one and see what you can take - taste as you go along)
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2 to 3/4 YELLOW onion
cilantro (a use a bunch - it is my best friend)
juice of a lime and salt (again - taste to your liking)
Sour cream.... maybe 1/4 cup or more...
Water - to give it a runnier consistency...
Blend in blender and wah lah - heaven in your mouth...
Seriously folks, I wouldn't lie to you !
My red salsa... been told it is better than Pappasito's... ;)
Red Salsa Recipe:
7-8 ROMA tomatoes
1-3 jalepenos (start with one and see what you can take - taste as you go along)
THESE above two ingredients I boil together or fry together PRIOR to adding to the rest of the ingredients... so you can serve it warm!
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2 to 3/4 YELLOW onion
cilantro (a use a bunch - it is my best friend)
salt...(to taste)
Again, simplicity and HEAVEN!
Any questions, ask away!
Happy to share!

Simplify...
So Christmas is said and done with and now we approach New Year's.... What did everyone do for Christmas? Was it an enjoyable one? Hectic? Dramatic? Peaceful? I must say....this year was the FIRST year in my life that I spent Christmas with just myself and my husband (who-btw will be writing really soon on the blog)... it was serene, peaceful, and just downright lovely. I worked on Etsy a little bit because I am so excited about my new home decor collections... we watched a movie.. went and ate at the local buffet (yes, they were open and I FELT HORRIBLE going, but I went anyways)... after that we checked out a couple Christmas lights and went home. SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE...
Sometimes that is the best way to approach life. With simplicity. I know it can be terribly hard when you have family, especially children, but it makes life easier... Yes, we will always have hardships, heartaches, and/or bad things happen... but after the storm comes the sun.. and better things to come. Just think about it... De-clutter your home... plan ahead (dinners, clothing, etc)... think of ways to make your life easier and simpler. I saw this on Pinterest (yes, my name is Courtney and I am an addict) and thought what a great idea... so this can kind of be your first step in the direction of simplying your life... finding more time for the GREAT stuff.... but LAWD whatever you do, don't let it interfere with walking... and if it does, lets go with plan B! LOL!
I am at work today, and I am sure it will be a long, sllllooowwww week, but I must get back to my duties and bid you adieu....(See I made this SIMPLE yet sweet...) Smooches !

Working on goals....
As the New Year approaches, we always set goals and/or resolutions for ourselves..It is secondhand... it is WHAT WE DO every single year. Some of us stick to it... some of us don't... well, I started early and I WILL stick to it!
Today I walked (briskly) a little over 4 miles... it was cold (well for us sissies in Texas - lol).... and it felt GREAT! I gave up on myself a couple of weeks ago... I was walking without hesitation, eating well, basically doing everything I needed to do to keep the weight off that I fought for so long to lose. THEN WINTER SET IN AND THE TIME CHANGED... and I MADE EXCUSES... and well, those excuses made my butt get bigger...So here I sit almost 10 pounds heavier and now even more weight to lose....
Why do we easily give up on ourselves? Aren't we so much better than that? Don't we deserve to allot ourselves some time to do what we need to do to feel better? As mom', wives, etc. - we throw ourselves to the wayside and give time to everyone else but us.... we forget that we must have that time to ourselves..... no, we DESERVE THAT TIME!
So I am trying this new exercise regimen that I found on, guess where? PINTEREST! My favorite place... really, it is like Wal-Mart on the internet...bwwhhha... and I am sticking to it... I will either get up earlier in the morning or do it first thing when I get home from work. I would take a before pic of myself, but I think I will kill the computer... yeah, I am looking that bad... BWWHHHAAA!
So here is to us !~ Taking time for ourselves.... being better, looking better, feeling better - which = a happier family... cause when momma's happy - everyone is happy!! LOL!
I will keep you informed of my progress! Super stoked/excited !
Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and MADE MEMORIES to last a lifetime.....
I bid you adieu... until next time....

Christmas Day .... New Year approaching..... "Letting Go..."
Hope you are all have an amazing Christmas... I am still trying so hard to get this blog thing and attract folks, but I am still a little clueless at what it takes... the pretty wallpaper, supports, etc... "let it go"... it will all come together with time .........
I felt the need to talk about "letting it go"... as the New Year approaches... quicker than I would like, but hey - what can you do.... "let it go"....
The time comes when we let go of unnecessary burdens, people, things, etc.... CLEAN HOUSE FOLKS!
"In life, there's many things that we have to learn to let go. We have to let go of situations, things, memories, people and even ourselves.
It's easy to form an attachment to people and things. When you've formed an attachment to people and things, it can be a very painful experience and feeling when you realized that it's time to let go. Even the mere thought of not having that person or thing in your life just squeezes your heart in pain.
However, there are times where you or that person has changed to the extent that it's necessary to let go of the relationship or friendship, so that each of you can fulfill your life path.
Letting go of your past and memories are also extremely hard. Even though old memories can be tormenting, yet you might hold on to the past and refuse to move forward. However, by refusing to let go of the painful past, it'll serve as a roadblock to love.
Letting go of your old self and the process of letting the new you emerge can be one of the scariest experiences in your life. But by leaving behind your old self and taking a leap of faith into the unknown, it might just reveal what you are truly capable of becoming."
May you find some inspiration.... and for those that have been holding on to the wrong things for so long, learn to let it go.....
Hope the rest of your day rocks... I know a lot of folks are eating, traveling, watching football and/or basketball.... Just enjoy life, whatever you do... we only get one of them folks!
Me, I chose to work on Etsy.... Already did the Christmas thing... and hubby and I are staying on the DL aka down low today, so why not do what makes me happy, right?
Now go shop! LOL .... discount will end sooner than you know... remember 12-31-2011....

SO.............................
I am weird today.... like, I really don't have much to say, but I have a million things running through my head. You know, one of those days.
Folks, I am me, a TOTAL realist.... I cannot put on a show, a fake"ness", and/or different facade about me... because then I wouldn't be me. THAT I will NEVER falter from.
I see these women on blogs and they are so...... NOT REAL... It makes me sick... like really? And so many people buy into it... WHY? Love me or hate me, I will be me ... ALWAYS. I might make you laugh.. make you question things... make you not like my way of thinking... my choice of words.... but that is WHO I AM! That is what makes us individuals.... and there is this thing called "unconditionalism" ...(I think I just made that word up - but I have a tendency to do that too)..
I want you here because you are drawn to that... because we get each other.. because we DO have the same kind of days and/or emotions... and it ain't always PEACHES AND DAMN ROSES... blah! So, today is a whatever day..
With all that said..... I will leave you with this brief "blog" entry and a TWO quotes because I think they are equally AWESOME...

Before and After !
Newest piece I bought and completed... I think it is one of the finest, most unique pieces of furniture I have EVER seen.... (not bragging, just talking about the piece in general)...
Have you seen something like this before?
I would LOVE any and all comments...It will be for available for sale shortly !

I would LOVE any and all comments...It will be for available for sale shortly !
I AM BAAAACKKKKKKKK....
Did you miss me? I am so sorry for my abrupt absence.....I went back to work after being off and LIFE happened again! LOL! Work has been insanely busy… then I come home to my other job and well, blogging is not on my mind, nor does it fit into my schedule. I am so sorry… I don’t get many comments, so hell, I don’t even know if I was missed…. LOL!
My topic today is the show Rescue Me… I know it has been over with for some time, but my husband and I found it on Netflix (the greatest invention ever BTW)… started with season 1… and couldn’t stop. It is THE greatest show I think I have ever seen…. Laughter, tears, drama, pain, passion, anger, and so many other feelings hit you while watching….. You, in a crazy way, actually “welcome” these characters into your home, and it is one hell of a ride….. I recommend this show to everyone (though, I warn you – there is a lot of sex, crude, rude, and disturbing episodes – but that is what we call REALITY!)….
Well, my husband and I finished the last episode the other night… of the final season… and I am sad! Like a part of my life is gone and/or missing… isn’t that the craziest thing? Do you ever feel that way after watching a movie and/or television show that ends?
We cried, laughed, and gave this show so much of ourselves…… it gave so much to us… and like that, it is gone… I am saddened ….. And I will miss the hell out of every single character and the show in general….. Isn’t it crazy how a show can be such a powerful force in your life?
That is why I blame the media (e.i. - television, radio, etc) for our kids turning to sex, drugs, and poor judgment calls in life… I believe these teen pregnancy shows and the constant talk about DO NOT DO DRUGS, etc actually is more of an enticement than a warning… it does more harm than good…. My point with all of this is that if a show can make such an impact in MY LIFE… then what the hell is this social network doing to our children?
I know, like always, I am all over the place… but does anyone get it? Do you agree or disagree with me?
With that, I leave you as always with a quote…..
“Whoever controls the media - the images - controls the culture.”
Allen Ginsberg

Hey guys...
I am headed off to watch a friend of mine sing in a Christmas special at church and her son will be playing the cello....
I will write later - but I wanted to leave you with some inspiration until I get back! I am on a new journey... so I found this to be perfectly fitting... marvelous, isn't it? I wish you a Happy Sunday.... until then..
“Let your mind start a journey through a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before. Let your soul take you where you long to be...Close your eyes let your spirit start to soar, and you'll live as you've never lived before.”

Learning......Life, My Page... and everything else in between...
So I have been playing around with my blog...I changed EVERYTHING!
WHAT DO YOU THINK? This is really, totally, utterly me! I just want to make sure it is visible to ALL! Not that you care, but I chose the gold lettering to pop the gold frames on the wall.... Oh what I wouldn't give to be in that room - sitting in that chair at this very moment...there is so much other cool stuff in this room, but I had to change the color from transparent to gray so you could read what I am saying ! SO.....MOST IMPORTANTLY, I NEED to know that you can see it okay..... because if you cannot read it, what good am I doing... it is NOT just about me loving it, it is about you "seeing" it!
With that said (the background made me think of escaping - and yes, I am all over the place, but hey, it is what I do~!)...
Do you escape? Whether it be reading a book, watching a movie, drink, eat... whatever. Do you find yourself trying to escape to other places just to forget where you are now, only if for a second? I know I do. I think it is part of human nature... Life can really be difficult at times, very difficult. Sometimes I wonder why we didn't get a manual... then I think, if we got a manual, then we wouldn't be on this crazy, difficult yet amazing ride, right?
We were all put here as individuals to do something great (or to make a difference-change a life), or so I believe. You encounter others for a reason.. you do things for a reason... sometimes it might not make any sense to you at all, or to anyone else for that matter, but things happen for a reason...(Like my car always veering to the thrift store - there IS A REASON - bbwwhhhaaaa)....
That man on the news that just killed his family, then took his own life - that is suppose to be a lesson learned... raising our children (or child in my case) - MAJOR lesson learned and will be a learning experience until the DAY THAT I DIE... meeting a friend online and pouring your heart out to them without ever seeing them in person - another experience - mark it down. Pay attention....to every detail, your circumstances, the people that have been placed in your life... think about it - then it might, just might, all make sense.... Life is a lesson learned....
And we have a lot more learning to do... we will NEVER stop learning.... so embrace it... but don't let the day just pass you by... hold on tight... pay attention... learn from it.... make a difference, even if it is just smiling at someone - you never know how that could change their mood ... or experience for that moment - and you could have changed their life....

HOLA!
And Happy Friday!
I am on my first cup of java... and LAWD DO I NEED MORE.. they need to invent some sort of IV ... that quickly puts caffeine into your veins.... I mean really, coffee is my only vice... I splurge every now and then on a FIVE DOLLAR latte from Starbucks, which I should say, is completely ABSURD! BUT, I don't drink, smoke.....I color my own hair... I don't get facials, massages, etc. I get my nails done and a haircut every now and then... and that is it.... where am I going with this, I have no idea... BBWWHAA!!!!!!!!!!!
So it is Friday... my plans are to clean my house, which, by the way, is ALWAYS clean because I am an OCD freak... I mean, I actually get excited when they come out with a new cleaning fragrance, yet they don't clean worth a #*(*&(#&(... I heard that you should make your own cleaner with vinegar... you can even use it in your laundry ..... I guess I need to ponder this... PLUS, you are saving money at the same time.... Ok, back to subject.....
I will also work on Etsy... I went to the doctor yesterday and my car veered towards Goodwill.. I LOVE when that happens.... found lots of frames.... I think I am in the mood for another FESTIVAL of COLOR frame collection..... they are so fun and vibrant... and not too mention I love color... and I love people that love color... (read the crayon quote folks)...
I hate the shabby chic, all white, clean cottage look... blah! I want it rugged, rough, rusty and crusty, with a pop of color.... TOTALLY my style..along side a beat up wooden piece of furniture - throw in a ruffled pillow... Is that total rock star status or WHAT?!?!? (Goes back to my future farmhouse that doesn't exist!)
What is your style? SOMEONE PLEASE IN THE BLOG WORLD... WILL YOU PLEASE ANSWER ME TODAY???????
With that said.... have a fantabulous weekend... whatever you do...
YES, I will blog this weekend (for those that wait on my posts with baited breath... LOL)....

Working on lots of new stuff!!!!
I am working on a nightstand.... let's say "gum drop" girlie DREAM! A side table similar to the "naked" legs one I have listed, but I went for totally Pottery Barn in shades of GREY! Totally Anthropologie too !
I am also working on three colorful chicken wire message boards... the frames are TO DIE FOR ! I adore them..... I have a new 3 piece frame collection that includes the coolest candle holder/candelabra EVER!
Also going to start working on V-day... I really didn't prepare myself enough for Christmas, so I will not make the same mistake with Valentine's day....
I cannot wait to reveal everything to ya'll....
I keep forgetting to post before and after pics, because I get so excited I start painting right away! When I have an idea.. I just DO IT or I will forget what I was thinking about (kind of like needing a list for the grocery store or you are completely dumbfounded when you get there)... anyone else have that problem?
Anyways... I look forward to tomorrow and posting great new things and blogging again... Thanks for being here... it means the mostest! xo
And with that.. I leave you with a laugh... #youknowyoudoit!

Ok.....My philosophy on children and parenting
Now this is through MY eyes... each person has their own parental skills, way of acting/reacting, etc... but I wanted to share this post with you that I wrote back in August...
Before that, let me pause by saying.... WOW, I totally feel like Christian Slater in "PUMP UP THE VOLUME".... I have an audience... really willing to "listen" to what I have to say... and it feels fantabulous... I hope... with every fiber in my body that I can make a difference with this blog.... That folks will open their hearts and minds....
SO, here it goes...
So I have a new life philosophy and I know you are all dying to hear about it.
I believe we should follow the parental roles of wild animals, or any animals in this case - to raise our children. They nuture and love them, but also give them tough love. They teach them early on how to hunt, live, and protect themselves so that they are not lost as they get older. As they age, they let them go, with total confidence that they have taught them exactly what to do and not to do in their environment, so they can repeat this healthy cycle, and do the same with their children.
There are so many people, like myself, that want to shelter and keep their children from all the hurt in the world, yet not letting them experience life and LEARN how life really is. By doing everything for them, or buying them everything they want, we are hurting them dearly. Before you know it, it is time for college, and mom and dad are not there to do things for them, and they are lost. We must again, love them with all our heart, TRUST them, teach them, but also show a little bit of tough love and make them aware of what it is they must do to survive in this world and raise a family of their own one day. You must learn to SET BOUNDARIES AND NOT ENABLE your children.......
I had my child young, and was not prepared for the life ahead of me.. I have done so many things wrong that I thought were absolutely RIGHT and helping him when in fact - they were setting him up for failure. Our children need to learn responsibility, respect, how to cook, clean, do their laundry, go to the store, and so many other aspects of life... some of the most simple things we don't think about that make such a huge impact when they are thrown into society to be and act like an adult and live a life we didn't teach them.
This is how I feel. I am "journaling" through facebook again. I feel this is an important for others to read. I am not knocking anyone's parental skills, as it is tough, just voicing my opinion. I have learned this late in life, but trying to do the best from this day forward.
You will see as I do now, that if you don't do these things, you will kill yourself mentally and emotionally as they age and harm their chances of being a functioning adult in today's society.
The bear story made me realize how incredibly smart they are at raising and taking care of their kids... most importantly doing what is in their best interest as a parent should in teaching their children survival skills, love, and being a role model.
It's not just what they learn in school that prepares them for life folks ... it is what they are taught at home as well.... Just think about it.
And now..... a picture... of my son... whom I love more than anything on this earth... he is my everything....
Oh, and anyone that wants to hand over a modeling contract - don't hold back... we will take it with arms open wide ... LOL ! ;)

Morning ya'll...
Have not decided what to talk about today... MUST let my first and or second cup of coffee kick in...
In the mean time... what does everyone have planned for Christmas?
I am finished shopping.. I have a VERY small family... and we are staying home.. doesn't get anymore boring than that; however, I know folks that would love to trade places with me in a heartbeat... go on, admit it if you want...
Lawd knows I wouldn't know what to do with a bunch of family in one house or having to travel from house to house to eat... I think I would hide.... Like Waldo... Yes, I know I would...
Yes and thank you !

So..
I bid you adieu for the night... I cannot blog all day long... I work a full time job, do etsy full time, have a teenager, husband, and the list goes on... I hope my one little bit of blogging keeps you hungry for more... and brings in followers by the buck loads..... I am so excited about all of this ... I check my followers regularly like a little kid waiting for Santa Claus to come ....
This IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO... my heart just sings .... I am a happier person.... Life is great.....
I wish you all sweet dreams....
Until tomorrow....
BBBWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

BBBWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Dreams.....
In the top right hand corner of my post - it says... a girl with BIG DREAMS.... well, I have HUGE dreams.... I live in the suburbs.... not by choice, but for a better life for my son, and a better school for him to attend.... Some might not agree, but I feel I should live for him throughout his schooling and do what is right for him and then live for me when his schooling is complete and he is able to live on his own... that does not mean I don't get my nails done, and do things for me every once in a while, but I do give my family a lot more of me than I give myself.... (okay - back to the subject at hand....lol)
My dreams... I dream of having a little house, at this point it can be a shack (IDC)...on some land... with LOTS of animals (not farm animals but dogs and cats).... and a garden (both food and flowers)... surrounded by nature.... In my home I will have old, rusty, crusty, weathered treasures! Totally polar opposite of what I have now.... It is funny, because it seems that most of the people that I meet have this already... (I secretly want to kick their butts - KIDDING!)....
So... When I see something... and I know in my heart of hearts... that I will NEVER find another piece like it... I buy it.. and I save it, as I state... "for my future farmhouse that does not exist"... crazy, of course... abnormal and absurd... HAAAIIILLLLL YYEEEAHHHHHH... but what is NORMALCY? And I truly believe, without dreams, or a bucket list .... you die...
Yeah... I forgot about that... here I am skipping all over the place! I get so excited... bare with me ! My bucket list is short... and I need to do some major thinking (the movie BTW inspired me - and everyone should see the movie and have a list).... but it consists of the farmhouse, but also sky diving, going to Germany.... owning my own shoppe (like not having work my corporate job), my Etsy shoppe being featured in Country Living and/or BHG (that is a far reach..lol), and some personal things I will keep personal for now....
Anyone else out there have a bucket list or big dreams? I'd love for you to share them with me... would make me feel as though I am not the only crazy person out there.. BBWWHHHAAA... It is ok... I like me.... That is all that matters... and you are here, so you must like me a little bit to, huh?
With that... I wish you the Happiest of Hump Days.... (take that how you will) and this....
"Edward Cole: Here's something to remember when you're older Thomas - never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart.
Thomas: I'll remember that when I start "decrepitating" sir."

Things are looking up!
Feeling a bit better today.... but where in the world are my followers? I yearn for ya'll...... come on over! Don't be skeered!
I am thinking of doing a give-away on my own blog... I can do whatever I want, right? I did a give-away on another blog... the girl won... kicker - was she was in Canada and the shipping just isn't worth the prize! UGH! So, when I reach 300 followers on facebook, I will give away a $25.00 credit/gift card (what have you) ..... I will let my husband choose the winner.... I will not say a word... promise. How do folks normally choose a winner anyways... can someone explain that to me... I am so new at this, and I am having such a hard time GETTING IT.....Is it the A.D.D....? Oh look, there is a chic.... KIDDING!
So, spread the news.... you must "follow me" on my blog and follow me on my facebook page, and come 300 followers... $25.00 giveaway.... it isn't much - but it is something, and hell, a girl has to eat! BBWWHHHAAA!!! This is me... no one freak out, take things the wrong way.... I am full of life... love to make folks laugh... I totally think I am a comedian, but sometimes my son and husband look at me and wonder what happened... I am most certain!
So, it is Tuesday.... tomorrow is HUMP DAY! So we are HALF WAY there... WOOT!
Now I want to take a moment to THANK Facebook, Etsy, Pinterest, etc... because I have met (not in person-but via the WWW) some of the most amazing people EVER. People, I have created LIFE LONG friendships with people whom I have never "graced their presence" (if you will)... I find that to be a miracle... such a blessing... so, you hear people bitch and moan about the internet and all the bad things, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful things it can do... and for that, I am FOREVER grateful.... My love to you all.... you know who you are. I am a better person because I/you found me... each one plays a different role, but there was a reason for that....
With that - you know the routine ! I leave you NOT with a quote, but with a PICTURE... aren't animals the greatest... we can learn a GREAT deal from them.. but I will talk about that another day! Go make it great ! Hugs and love!

Monday.... :(
Yes, it is the most dreaded day of the week... MONDAY! The weekends always seem to fly so fast, and it is though we are cut short of THAT special time with our families, or to get things done, or just enjoy the time off.... We work so hard to work so hard again when the weekend comes (moms and/or wives - you know what I mean.. our job NEVER ENDS)... does NOT seem fair does it? I vote Friday or Monday becomes part of the weekend, but who in the hell do I call for them to even consider such a thing? Anyways....
I am still not quite myself today.... I mean, we all have good days, mediocre days, and just down right bad days.... I have had some bad days lately... but I keep trying to put my "big girl panties on" and deal with life's punches. I have been dealt a blow with "trust"... through my life so many people have used me... actually, I LET them use me.. I was their door mat... DO NOT EVER GET SO LOW FOLKS! You are wonderful and you are a ROCK STAR... don't ever forget that... BUT be careful who you trust, who you tell things too, and who you call a friend.... when that trust is broken, it is like the person you are is broken .... and it takes quite a bit to do some fixin....actually a LOT....
In life, people become so many different things... docs, lawyers, artists, CSRs, assistants.... maybe just a cashier or a waiter struggling to make ends meet - but in the end - THE MONEY YOU MAKE DOES NOT MATTER folks... it is how you treat others... the most important rule you can learn. Treat others as you wish to be treated...
I always tried to instill in my son to never belittle, make fun of someone with disabilities, and/or hurt people intentionally because you wouldn't want the same done to you. BE GREAT FOLKS! Smile at people, treat them with respect, be the bigger person - just be careful who you give you heart too.... THAT makes you (in my eyes) the best kind of people in the world..... forget the labels... the money.... the power. You hold your own power, and let NO ONE take that away from you - ever.
Sorry for the sedative-like post.... just needed to get it out.. and this is like my journal for the world to see... the raw, uncut me - with struggles just like everyone else.....like I said before... with good and bad days... we call that humanity...
With that I leave you with a quote - you know it would NOT BE COURTNEY without leaving you with one.... but before that quote... I wish you a wonderful day... go out there.. smile and make someones day brighter even if behind that smile is hurt, because it will help you and it will come back ten fold... it WILL ... karma... well, it works in mysterious ways...
